Our Story
From a 600-square-foot Brooklyn kitchen to 47 states.
FlipinGood started in 2019, when best friends Maya Chen and Sofia Reyes began baking brown-butter cookies out of a 600-sq-ft kitchen on Wythe Avenue. Six years later, a team of 27 full-time bakers, packers and customer-care specialists ship to 47 U.S. states — averaging 18,400 cookies a week in Q4 2024.
The kitchen is still small. The recipes are still Sofia's. The cookies still leave the oven within 48 hours of being on a truck. We added the corporate gifting program (380+ companies, including Spotify, Goldman Sachs and Glossier) and a Subscribe & Save line, but we kept the part that mattered.
